
The group of Networks and Distributed systems at the Informatics Department, University of Oslo has one position of a postdoctoral research fellow available in the framework of the Tidal News project.
The project is co-hosted with the University of Stavanger. The research will be carried out in collaboration several highly reputed research groups, including the Computer Systems group of VU University Amsterdam, the Middleware Systems Research Group at the University of Toronto, Canada, the University of Trento, Italy, and the University of California, San Diego.
In addition to the main research activities, the position carries the following responsibilities:
Suitable Background and Requirements
Applicants must have a degree in Computer Science, or in a related study, with excellent results. They must also be able to demonstrate interest in scientific research. The ideal candidate for the position will have strong background in distributed systems.

A postdoc position is a regular job with social benefits and with salary starting from 456.100 NOK per year. The position is for the period of one year.
